September 2006 TAAD Awareness Month

On September 7th the City of Celina, Ohio and Mercer County, Ohio both  issued  TAAD Awareness Proclamations for 2006.  The Bicuspid Aortic Foundation is very grateful to Mayor Sharon LaRue of Celina and the Mercer County Comissioners for their assistance in increasing public awareness of TAAD. Stacey Grieshop's husband,
Doug, lost his life to TAAD on September 20, 2004. Doug had undetected bicuspid aortic valve disease. Through greater awareness, the lives of our families, our friends, and our neighbors may be saved.
