Doug collapsed at work  nine days later, on 9/20/2004,  and was  pronounced dead at a local hospital

Doug Grieshop experienced severe chest pain in June 2003. Fifteen months later, he collapsed as his aorta completely ruptured. Doug had an undiagnosed bicuspid aortic valve and an ascending aortic aneurysm.
